The Checker Flag

Unit 10. Wow! Ten weeks already, man we buried our heads like ostrish and only come up for air on the holidays. Work, work, work you can't let up you have to be consistant and persistant cause you don't want to fall behind. The work will double and you will feel like you are drowning and no life raft to save you. I must say from the start it full speed ahead and you will find yourself on the last lap ahead of you is the checker flag waving at you and you say I know I can. I will and I must finally voooom right pass that flag and you rejoice it is worth it. Everyone cheer for you and with you. Hooooray! you've done it.
Now a week past and its back to the drawing board and you have that 10 laps to do once again. Every one lets just do this it now or never.

The Finale`

It is just two more weeks for end of term of my composition writing class. I must say this class I have enjoyed much more than my first composition class and it has alot to do with the professor. She really loves what she does. Her interests in her students, the time taken to explain to make sure we understand what is required and she reminds us those who fail to try has already fail and all of her students try. They have choosen wonderful topics and worked deligently to present a scentific paper to the best of their ability because of a belief system the professor implanted from the beginning of the term. I know you can. All the best to every of class composition 2 and hopefully we will meet again.

THAT'S LIFE

Most recently in my life I had to implement these words "that's life" . Some of us are builders and some are destroyers. Some of us wait for things to happen and some make things happen " As per Ecclesiastes 9 vs 11 states. I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill, but time and chance happeneth to them all. "That's life".

WRITING DRAFT

I have been introduce to proper writing when I became a student at Kaplan University. I must say it is not as always easy to write a paper any paper for that manner. I have great difficulty with sentence fragments, run on sentences and structure. However, these issuses does not stop the ideas from flowing and some day I will like to attain a short story version of a children book.
Presently I am writing a draft for my composition class and it is has teeth. It is incomplete and I have a few more finishing touches to make it a hit. In my last composition class I didnt do very well and I will like to do so in this class.
These pass few days my life dealt with an up sided world nothing is what it seem. My computer got distroyed and everything I have in that computer is lost. I'm stead fast in pray even though it looks gloomy. I am finially able to purchase a new laptop with the support of friends and family and now I am writing in my blog giving testament to this day. It is nice to have love ones who really cares for you and I am bless. With this I know my writing draft will be a good draft and my final project will be just as good. To God be the glory with great things he has done.

LIFE IS WHAT WE MAKE IT OR NOT

Sitting here trying to search into my mind to locate a topic to write about on my blog and I slip back to my childhood. I have had a happy childhood thank you father. In my journey through womanhood I found so many unhappy people and all I ever wanted to do is to fix them. To show these people their is so much more to life than just pain and suffering. As an adult life means having the opportunity to correct or change the things in life that makes you unhappy. There are so many unhappy people in the world today for all sort of reasons and circumstances some of which does not even get the opportunity to make a change. Life is what we make it or not. I find that a person cannot be fix unless he or she wants it. It has to be personal and they have to feel the need to within themselves to get this done. What is a man that he loose his soul and gaining the world of vanity.

The Road is Long

Being a student, mother, wife and worker. I can safely say a woman with many hats. These hats apply to many women of todays new world. Every day of my life their is some form of challenges. These challenges improve my critical thinking capacity keeping me alert and oriented to my environment.
As a student at Kaplan University is one of my biggest challenges right now both with time and financially. I am coping with it on a day to day basis because I know this too shall pass.
My studies are coming along but it is not where I want it to be. This I have to work on to keep my grade up and keep me happy. Challenges are a puzzle for me and I will take it a piece at a time and to move onward when I reach the end of this road and be ready for the next road to travel. Singer Jimmy Clift state in one of his songs" its a hard road to travel and a rough, rough, rough way to go but I will hold on and I will be strong, and I will never stop'. Then I can always look froward to the great Robert Marley (Bob) "Better days are coming". On that note I will keep on trucking.

Challenges

Before I became a student of Kaplan University I've spent time trashing through many thoughts on what I want to study and my finances and of course its been quite a while since the good old high school days. Well I finally spoke with family and friends to share their ideas and opinions to help me formulate a decision. Now I am a Kaplan University student and is working very deligently to achieve my goal as a Medical Transcriptionist with an Associates of Science Degree.
Being in college it is a personal goal and as well as a financial goal. I am already in the medical field and straying from that to do something other will have been a much bigger challenge for me. So therefore I am happy and content with my decision on becoming a Medical Transcriptionist.
Since the beginining of my classes I have met people from all over the USA and outside of the USA and it is so cool to be in a class like that because the world have so many interesting people and it is fun. I have neglected to mention that I attend my classes on line it is really a different way of learning and because I am an audio learner this is just perfect for me. I do not have to deal with the traffic, I work nights so it gives me a chance to sleep before a class or not and it is peaceful at my home so concentration is not bad and I am in familar terrritory. I am all for on line education.
